Removing open sights

G'day guys, was wondering if any if you had experience removing open sights? Specifically on a zastava m85 in 223?

Rear sight looks like it is just a matter of undoing two screws holding it down but the front doesn't appear to obvious.

Haven't tried anything yet, at the moment it's just out of curiosity-the main reason I would look at it is when spotlighting, one of my torches that is less focused shines on the front sit when mounted on the scope. I have another that is a narrower beam, that works ok and have mostly hung it from the barrel regardless but I'm starting to think about fiddling with the gun a bit... I ran a business card between the barrel and stock today and found it was touching so will probably have a go at inletting that as well

Someone else will be able to confirm, but I suspect that you need to drift the front sight blade out to reveal a screw holding the base onto the barrel.

Confirmed Jason, only takes a couple of minutes.

Barrel channel on these stocks would have to be the roughest Ive seen on factory rifle, but again doesn't take long to rectify.
