Trigger (not the horse)

Post by Camel »

A quick question for any Brno/CZ experts out there, Do you know if a CZ527 trigger and bottom metal can be fitted to a Brno 465 rifle? While I dont mind the factory triggers on the 465, I would prefer a single trigger on mine, I have got used to the single set on my CZ453's and really like the way they are adjustable either set or single stage. Thoughts please gentlemen. I know they are a bit different, but is there too much difference to make it work? Thanks

I have previously had a look into replacements for the DST on Brno 465 and fox rifles with no luck - only one Internet link that never connects through. I have always been surprised that no manufacturer has sought to fill this market. I would love a 465 with a single trigger chambered in 17 HH - would be a great walkabout rifle. I notice Andy M rebarrelled one in the latest G&G - I would probably go with a blued barrel. love the lines of the 465 stock.

The funny thing is that I had one years ago in 17/222, the trigger was made by Tanta gunsmith, but unfortunately he has passed, as most of you would probably know.
Why oh why do we sell those rifles when we have moments of weakness or a mate that convinces you he needs it more, then resells to an arsehole
