Anyone know of some or any smiths in Australia with a reamer for the 219 Donaldson Wasp? May even look at a 6mm version but thinking of staying with the 224 first time round.

If you are a member of AHN I sold my old once use reamer there, though I can't remember who too.

Spinna that is awesome, When you get the martini would love some pics and info, is it a cadet action? Talking to one of the experienced guys in the States who used to be a smith but has done lots of work on Martini's he recomended a Martini 1215 action which I believe is one of the later BSA LR actions but they have thicker walls or something. Anyway that G&G article got me thinking it sounds like a cracker in a martini, pushing them along hot on the heals of a 22-250.

I'll put up some pix when (if?) I eventually get it..
It is from a deceased estate, and finalizing the deal is taking a while..
Yes a 12/15 receiver has very thick sidewalls, almost twice as thick as the standard Cadet.
In a Cadet action loads usually have to be kept on the mild side, to avoid extraction problems.
I'll be happy with a 50g projectile at around 3300 fps, well below what David Commens gets in his Ruger No 1 actioned rifle..
Cheers
