Wanted to see what pattern would come out as is so gave it a rough grind drilled a couple of holes, cut some lines and gave it a swim in some coffeeImageImageImageImage

Excuse my ignorance but is that a multi-caliber bullet mold for one of our eclectic reloaders?

Oh, and when is your wondrous device likely to be televised, and on what channel?

To answer your first question, if I have not stuffed it up the drilled section should end up something like the first pic and the section with the lines should end up something like the second pic.
I have never tried to make either before so we will see how we go.ImageImage

I have no idea, all I know is that it is a show called blokes world and it was when they went to Sydney knife show.
My father is one of the blacksmiths for the demo and takes his hammer along so they filmed both his and my furnaces together and some stuff on the hammer and talked to Troy from Nowra knives.

Looking at the pic you seem to be on the right track. Once formed into a blade it should look really nice.

PS. I was trying to stir up a camel.

As said the other day, today would be spent forging Damascus.
Not sure what order the pics will be in but
They should be of some flames coming out, the furnace/forge is running a bit low on oxygen as it apparently helps to the first weld by reducing scale or something.
The doorway getting a bit hot when somebody decided to turn up my forge because they missed the borax dancing, a couple with material in them at different stages of heating, one warming up and a pic with a bar ready for grinding cutting and welding again.
Got a bit held up due to reasons beyond my control so i only got 1 to 320 layers of random pattern 1 at 200 layers half ladder and half raindrop, 1 at 160 random and 1 at 44 layers.ImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImage
