Thats it exactly chris. I spoke to a mate who runs his own fabrication/fitting and turning/engineering business. He said basically gunsmith work is simple stuff in terms of lathe work. And if my current barrels are accurate at 1000yds which they are, and they come off an AL330, then anything like that will be fine. The key is obviously setting it up to be as true as possible, working true as possible and yep decent gear. Im not expecting results straight up, but dang I reckon its going to be fun and a start of a new hobby more than likely.
