Craig , the stocks based on a copy of Sako Heavy Varmint rifle with some changes to the pistol grip. The rifle is a Sako L461 , originally in 222 & re-barrelled to 17 Rem with a TSE stainless. It's really a replica ( of sorts) of the one I passed ( foolishly) to my young bloke (now 50 ! ) about 15 or so years ago.

No big Secret Glenn the oil has three components at this stage Tung Oil cut 75/25 with ......ne and the stuff you can see in the bottom of the jar is ......a .
No polish or beeswax is added yet as I have found that any waxes or polishes stop the oil from being drawn into the wood.
