Any more info on stock and rifle

Craig , the stocks based on a copy of Sako Heavy Varmint rifle with some changes to the pistol grip. The rifle is a Sako L461 , originally in 222 & re-barrelled to 17 Rem with a TSE stainless. It's really a replica ( of sorts) of the one I passed ( foolishly) to my young bloke (now 50 ! ) about 15 or so years ago.

A bloke I work has the same action in 204 that was 17

So what sort of oil is in the jar?

Or is that like asking Colonel Sanders his secret herbs and spices?

Looks like it needs a shake though!

No big Secret Glenn the oil has three components at this stage Tung Oil cut 75/25 with ......ne and the stuff you can see in the bottom of the jar is ......a .

No polish or beeswax is added yet as I have found that any waxes or polishes stop the oil from being drawn into the wood.
