Jeff

You have much more nice toys to build gun stuff with. I used a couple of files, and a grinder with various discs.

Fantastic work!

Righto we have an almost finished product. Just waiting on a set of F class feet. Ive made a bastard set up out of some flat bar to give it a test run tomorrow. Absolutely stoked with the hydro dip finish on the base plate. And the farley top is very nice too. A huge improvement overall on a caldwell firecontrol.

AJR,

What length is that barrel? Why I find funny is f class guys keep getting longer barrels and the BR guys all seem to be around 27".

Took it for its first spin today at the range. Very blowy 800m. First load I had made up for the 6 dasher was pretty average and only a 54.1 but the next load was a ripper 56.5 considering everyone was shooting 52-56 on average.

The rest was fantastic. The farley bag makes a huge difference. The rifle actually slid back and scope hit me in the bridge of my nose! Very smooth. Lucky it was only a dasher and not something bigger that would have split the skin and made me look a fool (well more than usual anyway)

Cant wait til the new rifle is built and I can get back into shooting again.
