Ages ago I picked up a Weatherby Mark V as a doner to turn into a .30-378. Stock was factory varnish but had suffered a bit while with the previous owner.
Lots of figure in the stock so the plan was to strip it back and and oil it up.
I made a start on stripping it back but time got away on me so I reached out to our very own wood whisperer and asked him if he could weave some magic.
Fast forward a little bit and this is what I got back.
Happy is an understatement. Can’t thank Andyroo enough.

Just need to find where I put the sling studs for safe keeping now.
I picked up my newest family member this afternoon and was quite happy with the wood, but I've just been shamed into silence. That is really beautiful. Congratulations and great work Andrew.
