Re: Winchester 9422 extraction issue
All my .22 Martini's have done the same over the years.
At one time I knocked up a short cleaning rod with a nylon bristle brush that I would clean out the chamber with when the cases started getting sticky. I would keep it on the shooting mat next to my spotting scope - a couple of quick twists in the chamber and back to shooting.

Re: Winchester 9422 extraction issue
I use a lot of the SK ammo which tends to be very waxy. While it does build up in the rifle it doesn’t impact the extractor, even with 200+ rounds in a session.trevort wrote:My bolt action 22 fails to extract after about 100 rounds cause the waxy lube off the lead pills builds up and the cases stick. And then I clean it.
Do you use lead pills with waxy coating?
