Did you heat treat it to temper the blade?

Both items are very nicely done Bruce, really like the home made copper and brass rivets. I am jealous
p.s. I like it better than the knife that Andy-roo showed me today, although his is a bloody ripper, yours would just suit me better and tickles my fancy a bit more.
