Do tikka triggers have adjustment for backlash.?

Correction. They do but it's incorporated into the trigger spring. My guess is the spring has been removed and the plunger lost while fucking around with it.

I'm thinking the big fella wants to take some backlash out of the trigger on his new toy which has the 'Tikka-style' trigger.

You got it Marcus that is where the L series Sako trigger was so good with adjustable backlash

Yes thats it.
Love the incoporated firing pin/Bolt stop.
I am about to pull the action out of the stock for more cleaning.

Tell us more kickin. Do you need to swap to a longer plunger (the bit inside the trigger spring) to reduce the backlash?

And if the sear releases and the gun fires why is backlash an issue! I've never noticed what happens to any of my triggers after it goes bang
