New barrel in the stolle

Well just got back from the range after doing some load work up with the new barrel. Conditions were shit with wind at 25km/ and gusts to 35km/h and some rain for good measure. Only day I had available and a week out from our fly shoot so put myself under some pressure.

The targets seem to speak for themselves so I'll show you.



Huge thumbs up to Russell at Group Solutions gun smithing Canberra. Job was done exactly when he said it would be, finish was great and neat all the way down to the cartridge info on the side of the barrel. AND it seems as though she is going to shoot ok too.

How did I tell chappo277.5 he's not getting his Stolle back for a while?

Have you tried Reloader 15 in the gun? You might be surprised.

Not yet. Went with the tried and true 2208 in the 6br. Maybe when I've got more time up my sleeve.
