20 vt action choice

Been think and i have a question can i load a 204 down for spot lighting in local areas and when i go up to cropping farms run full loads to strech out futher?

Thanks its just a thought i had then i could get best both. I had a 308 years ago were a man loaded me some loads that went off like 222 for local areas then i could put full loads in when needed. Cant remember now but think it shot 3inch high at 100y with full loads.
