Re: Stiller Tac30 22-250AI Build on the go
Trev,
Its being done by Luke at Eastec, he got all of the interesting reamers out of Peter VM and that's what was used to but my last 22-250Ai chamber.
Don't worry about about the phone call issue. His wife popped out a baby this week (was due last week) and he is having a few weeks off. Not sure what his voice mail says but give it 1-2 weeks and it should be back to normal. I would recommend sending him an email as he will be able to reply to it when he gets a chance.

Luke is a very good gunsmith / builder. My old mans 20PPC build is with him as well. Seddo what did he have boy or girl. Hope mum and bubs are doing well.

Not sure mate, i guess its a time thing. He is a pretty keen small bore shooter and doesn't do a lot of CF stuff but that's changing. He shot a few fly and f class matches this year.

The build has been bumped for the 300WM. Hopefully it will only be another 2-4 weeks before i can post some pics.

Re: Stiller Tac30 22-250AI Build on the go - now a 243
I cant believe this thread is so old. After being bumped for other projects, and the action beign swapped because Luke needed a tac30 in a hurry its finally been done, i got the call from Luke today so i will go an pick it up tomorrow.
Its now a Predator action and a fluted No7 lilja chambered in 243 win. I know its a plain calibre for me but so be it. The 22cal barrel was sold to a customer and i picked up a fluted no7 in Lilja's extras bin so it made it an easy decision. I usually don't go for fluted barrels but as i didnt have to wait it took it.
Pics to follow tomorrow......

8 twist and throated to mag feed 105 amax.
I would have preferred a slower twist to shoot some light projies but that will have to wait until the next barrel now.
