T3 Muzzel Brake

Post by big G »

Probably for Kickinback. Have A Tikka T3 in 270 Win. My question is , will the Tikka screw on 308 brake with its bigger internal diameter work on the T3 lite 270 .Cheers Big G.

It will work BUT, in theory you want all gasses to be shed through the ports. If the last hole is oversize then you may not achieve this. Have a good look at the HSS unit. The center hole is very oversize.but the last hole has a bushing pressed in with a very clever design on the back of it to shed the last of the gasses out the ports.
