I reckon the price for postage is a little high but I reckon it is to recoupe some of the costs of selling the stocks cheap enough to be under the magic $100 export mark, and even at $150-200 landed they are still a hell of a good deal and nothing else comes close IMOkjd wrote:I don't know why people are shocked by this? It costs a lot to get things sent to Aus and the stock is only $73 it is CHEAP they probably make a bit of money off shipping but so what where else can you get a high quality stock for under $200AU?trevort wrote:Ordered one this week, Stock $73 postage $67

I think you might be right with your theory Bombo.bimbo wrote:...I reckon the price for postage is a little high but I reckon it is to recoupe some of the costs of selling the stocks cheap enough to be under the magic $100 export mark, and even at $150-200 landed they are still a hell of a good deal and nothing else comes close IMO........
And I agree with your thought on them being a good deal, as the stock I got off them was very good value.

The other thing to remember is that scopes cost $50 to get sent here and the stock is much longer and boxed up its cubic weight (volume) is much higher thus costing more.
