Zastava replacement triggers

Post by mick_762 »

G'day Gents, and any ladies of course,

I have just bought a Zastava .243 for the missus, does anybody know if there are replacment triggers available for them?
I am getting the rifle glass bedded, so may as well try and get a trigger at the same time.

Your thoughts?

I had a Mini Mark x Mauser in 223 and I reckon it was one of the better factory triggers around.

and the couple I have shot in recent years that Adamjp has have worked very well.

A bit of a polish and adjustment should see it come up a treat.

Cheers Missed,
I havnt got my hands on it yet as I am out of the country, haha 30,000km and multiple time zones from home and still buying rifles....
Does that make me an Addict?

I will contact the Gun Shop via email and see what they will charge for it.

How can you be 30,000k from home?

Earth's circumference is 40,000K (give or take).

So the most you can be away from home is roughly 20,000K....assuming you're still on the face of the earth. Perhaps you're keeping secrets

Mate was figuarativly speaking, but where I am feels like the moonscape and is as warm as mars at times.
Not to mention there are Yanks around too with M4's and other such weaponry.

Their triggers are one of the best from factory rifles, fully adjustable and you can even adjust the tension on the safety leaver. No need to replace it that's for sure.

As others have said, the standard trigger is very good.

If you need to replace it, both actions take a Mauser 98 trigger.
