does anyone know what the case length of this cartridge is meant to be? the 221 fireball is 1.400", would it be the same and does it really matter to what length i trim them as long as all are the same?

My #49 Lyman reloading manual show a trim length of 1.400 " for the .17 Remington Fireball. For the best accuracy all of your cases should be the same length.
