Does anyone know the size and weight of a brick of 17HMR ammo?
AND
Has anyone imported live ammunition from USA?

It seems pretty cheap over there at some stores.

With the cost of poastage i highly doubt it will work out in your favour. The dollars not to bad so if you were going to do it now wouldnt be a bad time to try it but i figure its not worth the hassle

Wouldn't be worth the trouble, give Cleaver's a ring, they will give you a good price on a brick.

Ammo will need an export permit and you'll get hammered on dangerous goods freight...unless you're bringing in tens of thousands of rounds in one go, forget it! Better to put the money into a bulk order here to get the best price...

From what I can find you are up for about $600 dollars in export permits before frieght and any import taxes.
The export fees are the same for 1 box as a container load so unless you are thinking of bringing in a heap it isn't viable.
