Anyone got load data they would like to share? What sort of MV can I expect from AR2206H?

For the 45gr Hornady SP, try 25.0grs of AR2206H (for ~3500ft/s) and work up 0.2-0.3grs to determine the most accurate load for your rifle.

Hornady lists these as factory ammunition also........I am very keen to see how they go. Please keep us updated mate.

I would like to see how they go on long range foxes. I want something that will hold together a bit. If the really explosive prodjies hit bone (Except head or spine) out past 200m, it may not stop them dead. I have shoulder shot a few hoping for a lung shot at around 300m, hitting them ain't the problem, a few (very few) have made it to cover before I can get to them. I do prefer to simply head shoot but at 300m......well.....maybe I just ain't that good.

never had a problem with any fox hit with a 39bk though I am crap at range estimation. How far does the light range?

I am guessing at 300m the short stubby pill will be dropping much quicker and your fox may get away cos you missed. An opinion only, check the ballistics tables yourself for facts, I just go with theories

The yanks consider the 35gn berger their fav coyote pill and old wile e is a bit bigger than a fox

no joke, legal for deer in some US states including Texas but when blokes were posting on the 204um about their deer shot with the 204 all hell broke loose. Legal and ethical may not be the same, though introduce 40gns of lead into an animals brain at high speed and its gonna die quickly

I reckon for the long range shots on foxes, a 40gr BT will be slowing down a fair bit and from a standard 1:12 twist, should penetrate more than enough on foxes. Ballistics out that far would be better than the soft points too i would think. Might have to run them and see.

0.015" off the rifling or the length so as the cartridges can fit into your magazine.

Well, while I am waiting for my seating depth Comparator to arive from Sinclair, I thought I would take a chance and load up some rounds and work out max load of AR2206H in my KM77VT. I settled on 26.5gr ( I know its hot) and here is the first group I shot at 100.

Impressive. You shouldn't miss with that load.
