One of my mates that shoots in military comps out at Cessnock does a shite load of reloading. Anyway he has a brand new RCBS Rockchucker reloading kit (coupld of years old but still in box) that he has offered to me for $400 or $500 (can't remember which now as its been awhile but I think it is the latter)

Given I would only be staring out in reloading, would this be a good option?

Yes mate it would do for life. The rockchucker is a fine press and the rst of the kit is good enough to start with and then some. Not sure what the complete kit is worth though.
