6.5x55 brass bargin at Melb gun show- best price in ages

Post by ogre6br »

this add has board approval:

Hi
I managed to pick up some great Euro made & spec brass at the Melbourne gunshow

It's hirtinberger brand brass

It's normally for sale at $33-35/100

Was able to get it for $25/100

I have used this brass in my 6.5's for years and to be able to pick up this high quality brass for such a good price is amazing

Just wish I had more $$ in my wallet

I asked him how many bags he had left

oh about 20 here and more back at the shop

and I asked for a card so a mate could ring and grab some- he said cool we do CC over the phone

Whitebox munitions P/L

they dont have a shop but do shows and phone orders- dont even advertise in the yellow/white pages

phone/fax 03 9369 1360

ogre, how do you rate them against lapua brass? i was going to buy another 100 lapua cases for the m96 ,but at that price i could pick up several hundred!

For a true target rifle that you have spend serious $$ on- lapua is probably the best, just for the time saved on brass prep

for anything else these H cases are great

I have shot my best groups with the H cases in my 6.5x55 Tikka master sporter and 140 A-max

In the 15+ years I have been usign the 6.5x55- these H cases are the best in quality aside from Lapua

At these prices buy 400 ($100- the price of 100 lapua) and batch sort them and you still coma out ahead

Thanks Ogre, they sound like great value for money!
At that price ,I wouldn't feel so bad about loosing cases in the grass.
