here are the photo's of HB's 17hmr as I shot it at 100yds. I was aiming for the left hand bullseye just above the number 2 and did not allow for wind. So for the same 5 shots you will see the effect of grouping if you can imagine the overlap of the 2 & 3 shots, as well as the amount of drift out there.
Since you will see 2 groups (2&3 shots) you can see 2 separate and different wind speeds. note the single hole at the top of the number 4
Eveyone who shoots IS EFFECTED BY WIND, so please learn just how much hold off you need for your load and rifle.

aim point was the left hand bullseye off a bipod, no rear bag used.

The 3 bullets in the aimpoint were from later shooting with a 6ppc. Wind was measured with a kestrel wind meter as averaging 10mph (7-13mph)

you can see the group was less than 2" wide and not much more than 1/2" high.......excellent performance
