I keep hearing that the US is experiencing shortages of ammo and general reloading supplier (particularly primers).
Here ammo seems to be available but at high prices, with US prices starting to get to Oz prices).
So this raises the question of whether everyone here is experiencing any reloading supplies issues?
For me, I haven’t been shooting in quite a while but managed to stock up before the worst of Covid.
At best I have enough to live long enough before a zombie apocalypse catches up with me. Whether my supplies outlast me is the question.

Re: Reloading supplies
I picked up some gear in Geelong around the middle of last year. Waited about a month for powder. Haven't been anywhere to ask since but a mate was telling me the other day that his dad went to buy some 223 ammo and the gun shop would only sell him 1 box 20rnds as they were struggling with supply.

Re: Reloading supplies
Heard it was getting difficult. I haven’t been to my shop for a month or so but they had plenty of ammo (usual ADI bulk packs of 223. Haven’t looked for powder but have heard it’s a problem.
Tell him to keep his brass as one day he may to reload.

Re: Reloading supplies
I’ve been slowly stocking up over the last couple of years like a squirrel and his nuts.
Between brass, primers, powder and projectiles, I think I’ve got enough to last me (I think) for all of my rifles. Being a Weatherby whore it’s always been in my interest to buy stuff when available due to prohibitive pricing of factory ammo (if you could find it).

Re: Reloading supplies
I think I’m in the same boat.
Almost enough primers, powder, and projectiles to wear out my 223 barrel.
Sufficient supplies to last a while in my others.
Funny, I haven’t had the opportunity to fire a shot since the Covid lockdowns.
