Got the latest Cleavers 'specials' email and they have Armscor rimfire (22LR and Mag) pretty cheap.

Anyone know anything about Armscor ammo? Their website says it's made in the Philippines. Other forums vary in their opinion of the stuff.

I think that Armscor was the company that made ammo that was marketed under the Stirling brand. If so, it was just ammo, nothing flash, but did the job, the standard 22lr HVHP ammo was dirty shit. :D

yep ! you are 100% correct it's pretty average, I would rather buy SK or ELEY and hit what I aim at :auto:

The projectile looks a lot like the Winny's that refuse to cycle cleanly through lever actions. I might have given them a go but once I saw that shape I knew they'd be problematic in my lever...although probably fine in the bolt actions.

Even so, I'm and SK fan when it comes to hitting things with a 22.

Someone gave me some highland ammo once, if it is that crap do not be in a hurry for any follow on shots as it will not cycle quickly even through a bolt gun.
Only time I have ever lost a duelling tree match was when trying to use that garbage

I use SK standard plus in the 22PRS matches and it shoots great, :D
