Quickload

Post by 17remfreck »

In quickload in the propellant table which powder is more correct to ADI2209 and ADI2213sc ?
AR2209 or H4350
AR2213sc or H4831sc
Because you get to different results?
Has anybody had this issue?

Yes, I often get 2 different results and both are right enough.

Reason is, different batches can act like either, or even further apart than the samples tested. I have run quickload on about 20 of my barrels and it is very rare that a powder burn rate lines up very close to what I get. Some batches are much faster or slower than others and you need to change a few inputs (burn rate, bullet weight, shot start pressure, internal volume) to get your velocities to line up with the quickload prediction.
