Looks like AR2225 is the powder for speed.
86.0 grains behind 123 SST!
Might back it off a couple of grains though. Was a bit sticky on bolt lift.
Didn't test accuracy after I found bolt lift was sticky.

Probably more dedicated to conserving barrel longevity

Barrels are consumables, just like powder and projectiles.

Bolt lift was a bit too sticky for my liking. Had 3 more to test accuracy but didn't want to push it. Also had 4 more loaded with 87.0 grains of 2225 that didn't get a run.

Not worried about barrel so much as blowing extracters etc.

So what were the numbers you were "aiming for" - no. . . Well actually yes, pun intended.
From your thoughts to actual velocity.

Quickload estimated it around 3540 fps so it's a bit out. Interestingly Quickload also predicted similar velocity with 2218 (90.0 grains) but realized velocity was only 3300 fps. Certainly it's a lot faster than expected.
