Has anyone done this?

If forming cases down from say 222 rem to 20/222 and the chamber neck is to tight, also no neck turner. The form die can be used to stabilize the case then an inside neck reamer used has anyone done this

Trev, thanks for the offer mate but its not that simple, its actually a 17 pee wee case. Has the form dies and i'm sure the final form die is designed to hold the case whilst the neck reamer is run. Wondering more about using a handle as opposed to a drill, plus it gets rid of that mysteries dohnut

I have inside neck reamers that fit into my RCBS case trimmer instead of the pilot, wonderful little gadgets.

Just doing a search and found the Wilson inside neck reamer, have a look at it mate on that youtube thingy looks a good bit of gear. Lot of small cal fellas in the US like the wilson case trimmer and this operates off that

The Wilson is an awesome bit of kit Johno but you will have to buy the 17 Pee wee case holder as well.

Currently the 17 Wee Pee is based on the 30 Carbine case,

Which is smaller in diameter than the Mach 1V case by a poofteeenth

G'day All,
inside reaming will follow the centre of the hole in the neck, so if the neck wall thickness varies it wont fix it.
I believe you a better to neck turn as it makes the neck wall thickness the same (for reduced loaded round run out) as well as ensuring you have the right clearance for the chamber. reamers may not.
Wilson makes theirs in 0.001" steps which helps but you still need a shell holder.
hope this helps
