Hi guys.
Ive been out testing loads for my .308 today
I have noticed that the primers from the same powder lot (41.8gr) are different shapes after firing. 2 are alot flatter than the other two with the same powder charge.
Is this strange? Im thinking they should all be similar shape.
Thoughts?

CCI Large Rifle Primers, same batch of Lapua cases trimmed to 2.005" and AR2206H measured on digital scales.

Cases sized correctly and the same? Virgin cases? Headspace can make a difference. Also you weighing each charge or just throwing?

Cases had been fired once before, everything else is exactly the same. Weighing each charge on digital scales. Headspace was checked by gunsmith and he said it was fine. Im thinking it might be the scales. They will be the easiest to rule out first.
