Mine is a 1:9
Shoots 70gr berger vlds pretty good as well as the 55gr vmax but it is a savage so it will shoot everything pretty well :stir: - when the action is screwed into the stock nice and tight that is  although that is being sorted today
More of a generic question though, thought I may try a new pill someday just cause I can - cheaper than buying a new gun to play with.

The 40gr Nosler BT is hard to beat prob not much in it at 300 but the 53 is possibly a smidge better in the wind by then.

At least you can just buy a new barrel when than you wear the barrel out 8)

Whens the new bub due again

40gr V-max for me in the swift and 222.
Shoot flatter over the medium distances your looking at against the higher BC heavier pills launched at lower velocity.

Yep they'd be my pick too, those things shoot bloody well and kill very well too and don't cost a small fortune either - excellent projectile.
