first reloads 22-250

Post by damige »

hi Last week we decided to go down to little river to see what our guns are doin and after making up 70 rounds of reloads in lots of five, some using the same proj for 4 different powder weights i found that the 22-250 liked a few of them. before i loaded i trimed cases to length, debured primer pocket inside and out then resized neck only with lee collet dies twice ( after first i turned case slightly and sized again ) then weighed each load of powder so each would be the same. Then seated bullets to length, well we had a ball at the range and it was the first time there, i first sighted in with factory loads cleand the barrel and i started heres a few pics of the groups.

Well done mate, seems to like the 40grainers. May I suggest 55gn Vmax, they shoot well and are about $15 cheaper than the BT's! Nice flyer too, mate I cant manage a five shot group without a flyer, usually the first or last shot!
