RCBS Supreme master kit
Howdy.
Does anyone here know of the cheapest place to get a hold of one of the RCBS Supreme master kit? Cheapest I could find is around $680.00.
I'll be re-loading my 250 and eventually a 30-06.

I got mine buying direct off a guy who was advertising on ebay. He is up Horsham way. It was about a year ago $440. Now mine is the rockchucker supreme kit, is there a differnt "master' level kit?
I still have the guys email address at work. I had never met him, never spoke to hime before, bought "off" ebay so no protection and he could have disappeared with my $$$ but the kit turned up in the mail fine.

Hi Ben86,
Just came across your post. If your still looking for a kit, I bought the RCBS Rock Chucker Supreme Master Kit from Lock Stock & Barrel. (about AU$319.50 at present, + shipping.)
This is a US Co.. You'd have to ship the slow way to save more money, also order your dies & shellholder/s to save more & make up for your shipping costs.

Great time to buy US with exchange rates what they are.

I have three sets of reloading dies plus a pack of 10 Hornady Lock & Load die bushings on the way at the moment mate. Postage via USPS Global Express (3 day delivery) was US$44.20. This brought the total to US$148.64 which is still just over half of what buying the stuff locally would have cost - if I could have got it here. I had been waiting since early March for one of the die sets, ordered through QGE back in March and still no word as to when they would arrive, so in effect I will get the gear for half the price and at least 3.5 months faster than shopping at home.
Just drop Lock, Stock & Barrel an eMail asking for a quote for freight before you order mate, as it is a fairly heavy item you will be getting and their are other options than the Global Express 3 day thingo which are still fast but much cheaper.

Hello again ben86,
Sorry didn't say welcome before, welcome! Plenty of knowledge here (these guys have helped me heaps).
As HiWall says, send them an e-mail & ask them for all there shipping rates. If you have the patience, go for surface mail for such a heavy item,(again reminding you not to forget your dies & shell holder). I cant remember exactly the savings, but quite substantial, something like AU$100. So looks like you'd save about $200(+what you'd save on dies etc.)
Good luck.

LS&B is close to the prairie dog grounds I shoot on, and I've stopped in there several times. As nice as they are to deal with online, they are ten times nicer in person. A finer bunch I have never met. You walk into a very small showroom, and they just say, "Head on back to the warehouse, everything's out there, just pick out what you want and bring it to the cash register". That's how they do business, they are trusting and good folks!(it's cost them at times, the scopes are locked up!)
I always make it a point to stop in there when I'm out that way.

Nice to hear that Glenn - sometimes it is difficult to get a correct impression when dealing over the net, but they do seem to be really nice people there - communications have always been friendly and helpful and they do go out of their way to give a good service. There can't be much in it for them as their prices are some of the best I have seen on the net and doing all the postage/freight stuff would be an extra job they don't get any return from - they appear to have a great range of stock in shop as well as I have never had to wait for anything I have ordered.
