Has any one had any experience with these.
Midway USA DogTown .172" 20 grn prodgies

At the moment we are using 50 grn Vmax's in the M55 17 Rem. Only just started the reloads, So just after peoples experiences with different prodgies before blowing loads of cash to find out they are not worth the trouble.

The Dogtown projectiles are made by Nosler and were sold to Midway under contract.
They were also sold to Midsouth (IIRC) as Varmint Nightmare projectiles as well.
So if you search for Dogtown or Varmint nightmare you will get some load data/experiences from the US.
And recently Nosler, which never sold 17cal ammo or components, started to sell 17Rem & 17FB ammo and components (projectiles & 17rem brass).
So you can also source the same projectile from Nosler too. In the US Nosler were selling the projectiles in 1000 non-retail boxes before the release.

I've got a couple thousand of them sent over but have not used any yet. But they look OK if looks is anything to go by. Probably won't shoot the 17 till winter so I will let you now what they are like.

If they are the same as the Noslers OK to 100 or so but beyond that I have to aim at the big bits.
That is out of a 17 Ackley hornet that tacholes V Max lipstick bullets.
