What to do with ammo fireformed in someones elses chamber?

I am getting into reloading & have purchased some dies. A work mate I purchased the dies from also gave me some reloaded cartridges aswell, these have not been full case resized & are fire formed to his chamber.
My question is what is the best thing to do with these reloads? He has since sold the gun.
Can they be full case resized once they have been reloaded & crimped or should they be disassmbled then full case resized & start again?
Or try to carfully put them in & see if they fit without forcing them - This sounds a bit risky.
Any advice is appreciated.

Palla,
First up how much do u trust the guy who loaded them. Trust him with u life, eyes or face. As a rule I won't shoot other people's reloads.
No u can't FLS loaded ammo. Big no no. Some will disagree but again do u like u hands attached with 5 fingers on each??
Buy a kinetic bullet puller and pull the loaded ammo apart. If the brass is in good condition then FLS, new primers (ditch the old powder) new powder and re use the projectiles if they are good enough.
The cost of new reloading components is far less than buying a new gun after destroying your current one because of someone else mistake.
Just my two cents!
Cheers

There are some mates of mine that if they gave me reloads and told me the load data that I would trust. That's if they chambered easily.
I have shot labelled reloads before from an unknown to me reloader with no problems, but was younger then and would not do it now.
It's up to you on how much you trust the source of you reloads.

Is the ammo fire formed to a standard chamber ? I'd see if they chamber.
Ask said mate to fire of the first couple if you are worried, but i wouldn't get paranoid about it... Sure accidents happen but if you know the load it's a low risk that he loaded up hand grenades for his own use.

Mate shoot your own ammo in it. Pull the bullets and reload it to what you know is going to work and not blow up your new gun. There only a few close shooting buddies that I would shoot thier reloads, and that is in thier guns not mine.

NO dont do it. Chappo gave very good advice, and if you are just starting out, its a lot better to start from the begining with fresh primers and powder.

I reload for two mates. I get them to purchase their own dies, powder, primers the lot. We do the load development together and the load is developed for their gun only. They give me the empty cases in a box (50rnds) and i give them back the reloaded ammo. essentially i load in 50 rnd batches and dont mix batches. Every charge is weighed, and all of the brass is prepped, uniformed then inspected and cleaned prior to loading. I keep records of number of times fired, trimmed etc. I load for accuracy only and all of the loads are below maximum but with sufficient load density that the case is filled up to around the datum point on the shoulder. Neither of these fellas are interested in max velocity but they sure expect the ammo to be accurate.
I shoot with these blokes on a regular basis (weekly) so I always keeping an eye on the load for any problems or accuracy variations that might crop up.
I wouldnt take anothers reloads unless I could trust they had been developed for the rifle and with the anal retentive pedantic mindset that I have.
I not contradicting the advice given above, it is very sensible. But I am pointing out some of the things that would be needed to be considered before accepting someone elses reloads.

Mate for what it's worth, just start from a fresh. Do you know how many time they have been loaded/how hot they have been loaded etc etc. I reckon mate you are just better off getting some factory stuff or if you have been saving your own just use it. Its one thing to use a trusted persons ammo in their gun but I just don't think it's worth the risk in your new gun with your body holding the rifle.

Piece of piss. Just use the decapping pin in the nk die. Go carefully and wear eye protection.
