With all the hype about improving the BC, has anybody using a bullet pointing system (Whidden or Hoover) seen any distinct worhwhile results??
Has group size reduced, how much??
Has elevation reduced, how much??
Has wind drift been reduced, how much??
Would you recommend it??

thx

im pretty sure i could slightly alter a neck trimmer to work as a mini lathe or make one from scratch to do such a job.
although, the drill and a super fine file sounds much easier.

Simple and effective way is to meplat first but minimum only. Sometimes not needed. Then drive a centre punch into a metal plate or the backside of a vice and place the projectile in the indent and then a very gentle tap with a light hammer and the job is done. Surprising how accurate and fast and inexpensive. Cuts out all the bullshit of dies, dollars, etc. etc. for exactly the same result. Will crawl back into my cave.
