Thanks for the heads up, for $25 and a 1 year warranty I couldnt resist. Gave it a try today with 100 17 rem cases (in lots of 25) and found it to work very well, first cleaning was with vinegar and then 2 cleaning rinses with water, will try other liquids as well to find the best, maybe even try Coca-cola?

The best concoction I've found is 1/2 teaspoon Cream of Tartar and dishwashing liquid in 400ml container.

Gets the crud off and has no major acid issues like vinegar.

Well just got one in Horsham. They had them out the back so was lucky. Now what's best way to use them?

Trying it now and well it's going OK with some cases but others are not that great. Did have the basket in and reading the destructions it says that absorbs about 30% of the power so giving it another run without the basket. Does most of the crap come out with the vinegar or does it happen later?

Try this instead of vinegar.

Hmmm.....finding the federal cases(LC headstamps) are cleaning the primer pockets really well but Winchester cases are leaving some carbon residue in the pocket.

OK stupid question adam but I guess you don't need to bother with the baking soda???? No acid?

Not if you use the Cream of Tartar. Just rinse out the cases with water when they are clean. I hold them under a running tap for 10 seconds or so.

Thanks Adam that works great! Easier and IMO better that vinegar! Just tried another batch with your mix and goes great! Is strange though that federal cases clean up best with both mixes. Primer pockets and squeaky clean where winchesters are not as good. I can't remember whether I had loaded the winchesters or if they were factories from a shooting mate. For $25.... can't go wrong! I usually only load in blocks of 50 so the small capasity is not a concern. Yeah would be good to do 50 at a time but the amount that I am shooting I don't need a big one.
