Swift Bullets

Post by Marco »

Last month at the shot show i got myself one of those Beretta shoulder bags that were being handed out so handy for carrying all the shit you get at the show ( good reading in the thunderbox ) and on closer inspection there was a catalogue ( cattledog  ) from Beretta "new products 2010". On the back cover you'll find Swift Bullets....

Has anyone here tried them out yet? they have a bullet type called the "A-frame" its a partition bullet with a semi spitzer nose any way i was wondering what if one was to drill out the nose in effect making a hollow point out of it.... i wonder how it would go?

The Swift A-frames are great hunting bullets.
I loaded these in a Ruger .300 Win Mag for a friend to take to Africa years ago .
He now uses these 200 grain Swft bullets on everything that he shoots in Canada .
Load with H-4831 to 2820 + fps.

Nosler partitions work too.

The first time I saw these bullets was in a Brown Precision catalogue by Chet Brown.
