So don't Remington test fire their rifles at a target before they leave the factory? not so much for the accuracy guarantee but to check it's not way off or key holeing etc...

If they don't test fire I'll never buy one on the off chance it shoots ok.

You would assume that nice looking VSSF11 would be a tack hole machine when buying... for the price.

you would think that. Hopefully its just the crown on this rifle that is the trouble. A few that I have seen have been ok, but they arent my cup of tea.

Took it to the range it was worse, factory ammo still tumbling, I have sent it back for the last time now and have stated that I dont want it back.

Every single one I have seen is half inch out of the box thats why I bought it. Even yesterday I was next to another one that was just punching through the same hole all day.

Oh well see how the return goes.

Mate that's a right royal PITA.
I hope Raytrade do the right thing and get you a replacement.
Best of luck,

Hmm must be a bad rifle. Thats two VSSF i know of that wont shoot factory ammo. Plus another 7600 pump that was returned as the magazine continually didnt feed no matte what was done. And the bloke who returned it told them to stick the remingtons up their behinds and used the refund to get a cheap howa stainless synthetic and is totally rapt with it.

Remington better clean their act up.

Maybe see if you can swap it for a savage mate, they have stainless fluted models available.

Raytrade have been nothing but professional with this and agree it should tac drive and have offered to replace it with a brand new one. I have seen nothing but tac drivers from these and I was just plain unlucky, shit happens and I have a good result now.

Might even be getting a slightly modified one now as well. Will post update.

Mick that's good to hear.I have had a few remingtons and all have shot well.
Look forward to seeing the tiny little holes in the paper with the new one.
