The beauty of your outfit is that you simply open it up to the AI and reset headspace and you are good to go again with the existing barrel. The throat area is virtually the main wear area. I had a standard 20.250 barrel that was getting a little iffy so had it opened up to the AI as well but it is a slower twist rate for the lighter projectiles, mostly the 32 to 39grns. It had fired around 800rnds. Mine would need to be set back and also need the re run the reamer in, the knox is the only controlling factor.
The best thing I found with the AI version is the much longer case life I am now getting, velocity has had no real effect as the tapered 250 case wall tended to stretch were the AI straight walls do not. Once formed I anneal the necks and then all is well with the world
I will be a couple of weeks before I can test these 53 grn projectiles fo grouping and velocity but will let you know the results
