Testing done up herewith Magneto Speeds and Labradar suggests that Magneto Speeds are very good.

G'day old fella, hope they are better than the ones we tested at Yass this year, neither could pick up 17gn projectiles out of my 17/222, I reckon they aren't good enough.Old Trev-39 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 17, 2017 7:56 pm Testing done up herewith Magneto Speeds and Labradar suggests that Magneto Speeds are very good.

Well the old mate over in the land of Goddamn has been getting those speeds out of his 20 Extreme.(Which is based on the 222)Using powders of similar burn rates and load density.Maybe you blokes need to experiment a bit more.
Does anyone know where a bloke could get some aa2200

Isn’t it funny the difference a barrel can makeBranxhunter wrote:
The third rifle was the Rem 700 .22-250 with 24" barrel, 37.5gn AR2208 and 50gn v-max. Results were 3762, 3738, 3765, 3762, 3765 fps. Here again the consistency was pleasing. This load is getting warm in my rifle so I don't think I will push it any further.
Marcus
34.5gr 2208 in my rem 22-250 with a 52gr projectile gets just over 3600fps
