an article in march/april 2010 yank RifleShooter mag suggests putting the decapping/expanding unit in a drill chuck and polishing the expander button with 600 grit emery paper - only so much as to hone out any roughness and not to alter dimensions. This should reduce drag as the button is withdrawn from the case.
