If you remove your decapping pin from the FL die doesn't it technically become a body/shoulder die?

Technically Yes it is ....................practically in most cases No its not,A SB body die is smaller than a standard dieand as a rule will size the case just above the web as well as push the shoulder back all of this will at times make the case longer in overall length though.stinkitup wrote:If you remove your decapping pin from the FL die doesn't it technically become a body/shoulder die?
With a custom chamber that is chambered short it is quiet common to have to shorten the die by 5-10 thou to get adequate sizing.
