Yeah, Marcus. I hope I'll be shooting it when I get back from my next run to work. I got another 20 cases trimmed tonight. That makes 40 done. The brass grows by nearly 40 thou when it is formed, so it takes a bit of trimming back. Lots of turns on my little Forster trimmer.Branxhunter wrote: ↑Tue Apr 17, 2018 10:06 pm Sounds and looks like an interesting project Curan.

Sounds like you need a trim die and a fine toothed hacksaw, or a little hobby drop saw -although if this is a project where you might only ever form up 100 or so cases you might not be able to justify the investment.

Spot on Marcus. I'm only ever planning to form up the 60 cases, so it's no biggy.Branxhunter wrote: ↑Thu Apr 19, 2018 6:23 am Sounds like you need a trim die and a fine toothed hacksaw, or a little hobby drop saw -although if this is a project where you might only ever form up 100 or so cases you might not be able to justify the investment.

I'll just keep turning the handle for another 20 cases and that bit is done........

Re: Reloading my new 25 cal.
Knocked up 10 rounds to take for a try on the weekend.
Used 20gn of 2207 behind a 87gn soft point. My old Hornady book suggests that as a starting load, so it'll do to see if everything else works on the old girl.....
