Re: Anyone Here Anneal
I did a quick test. Fired a lapua 223 case 20 times. Annealed each time. Seating pressure never varied.
Second piece annealed every 5th time. Neck tension became less from 3rd reload.
Same with third piece done every tenth time.
Like the amp. No I love it.
Cheers

You just convinced me macca as I was annealing on every 5th firing I may have to shorten that up.

Re: Anyone Here Anneal
Instead of two pans with the Skip annealer, I just used a ring in the pan and another roller to feed the .223.Without the ring and the bigger roller the .243 to 30.06 cases runs

Cordless drill case holder and the smallest Butane tip I could get locally.

Re: Anyone Here Anneal
Ken, I have two gas torches here, an older primus lpg burner, and one of the newer butane turbo burner type things, I us the Primus one as I have a feeling that the other butane one would get them hot very quickly, the LPG is slower to get up to temp, but I reckon I have more control. Just to test it, I did a rough count of 7 seconds for some 222 cases with the LPG, the butane took only 3 seconds to get to around the same colour red glow.
