Right.. I had done a veritable shedload of reading via the internet as there was no published "light pill" loads with the new LeveRevolution power, or so I thought...... Well not published by a manuafacturer anwyway.
I stumbled across an American who had done considerable load development with it though and was "reasonably regarded" by his peers on the forum: https://www.shootersforum.com/handloadi ... llets.html
So I did what all good budding plagiarists do... I copied some of his work .... his velocities are for a 20" carbine though.
All were 3 round "proving" and Chrony loads, with the Magnetospeed on the end of the tube. Same POA on a clean target for each three rounds, I only measured 1 outstanding group.
The rifle:
Marlin 336 XLR in 30-30 with a Sightron S1 3-9x40 - side note if your not familiar with the XLR it has a 24" barrel. (yes it belongs to Erica, no I didn't bloody ask her permission to use it

Base line is my normal load of 2208 and the same pill/brass but with LR primer gives 2480 fps and 1 1/4 inch groups at 100m.
I used this load to smack my mates gong at 300m with 3 out of 5 shots.

All cases showed nil "normal" signs of pressure or had any extraction problem, with no "lever jump" either.
As with anything reloading related, use this at your own risk, and do your own load work ups.
