it seems that if you want an explosion these arent the pill but they certainly add another dimension to varmint calibres. I will definetely be trying them

Good wright up mate. I'm looking forward to see if they end up doing a pill around the 60-65g mark for us 1in8 guys.

The idea is they will do enough immediate damage to work well on pests like foxes, but still drive deep enough on larger animals like goats, the average pig, etc. The solid base keeps driving deep.

Being 45gr you also keep your velocity instead of say using a 60gr lead cored jacketed pill and going slower.

ACP are open to custom orders - hence they are called Aussie "Custom" Projectiles. :) There is a lot of flexibility with regards to weight and bullet hardness.

At the moment they are making sure via range and field tests that the concept is going to work before the 45gr is released for sale.

Fenring, good report they certainly look like they work, be interested to see how they go for you on pigs as well.

Well if my 222rimmed martini wont stabalise 50gr vmax's those acp's are out. Might have to see if they can whip up some 30 or 35's though they would be pretty stubby compared and might just fly in a line rather than loop the loop.

Thanks for all the write up fenring, its nice to see another Aussie company making bullets.

Ryan

Might be a nice Riverina pill then. Nothing bigger to shoot around here but foxes really. Unless they less us shoot the roos in time.

Ta mate. Would have been out again but it's been wet and the foxes are scarce and shy. See what the next couple of days brings. :bang:

Would love to use an Australian product, how are they priced?
I'm using blitzkings 55g at 3650fps (22/250) anyone had any experience with these pills at these speeds.

Not for sale yet mate, won't be too long I imagine. I hope to shoot some pigs with them. If it hadn't been raining so often when I'm not working I'd have shot more foxes.
