lets just say the OP asking the question deserves the effort.

But OK Andrew. I will try to be more helpful when I can.

For the larger cals you can buy a knurled retaining nut to replace the expander, however the 20 cal shaft is smaller and when I tried to buy one for my 204r s only the bigger ones turned up so I put a tiny bit of thin paper in the end to hold the pin in. Its worked for 6000+ rounds so far.

Could you use a Simplex press and .222 or .223 die with the sizing button removed to deprime, then run the cases through the 20 cal neck size die in your usual press? If this is a option I have a Simplex press you could use Craig.

That's what I do Marcus, works a treat.

Craig I would have a spare simplex decapping rod that could be modified to fit in your redding neck die if you would like one I can make one fit on mine and send it down to you.

I just linished the expander down so that the bushing does all the sizing.

Crackers two presses is probably a bit of overkill but I got the partner when i was shooting a lot more and kids where helping to load so two actions could happen at the same time,

Now the redding decapping die which costs about 20 bucks lives in the partner press. Its body makes no contact at all with the case so my routine is decap in it then run through the ultrasonic and dry out before neck size prime and load.

and of course the point of that is you dont have a pin or ball in your neck die, just screw it all off
