I had lots of pills sent to me to try in the 22/250
Thanks to the blokes who sent various, including 55gn shots, 55gn NBTs and 52gn Trelour match pills.

all three of those managed 3 shots cutting with two bringing the group out to the inch.

So I guess economics 101 will have me joining the 55gn shots cheer squad!!!

Hmmm, I haven't really looked but can you get 20 cal Nosler shots?? I imagine these would be fairly economical. Out of interest, I just bought a 250 box of 20 cal 32 grain V-maxes from Shooters Wholesale Warehouse for about $83. Works out around 33c per projectile which isn't too bad. Especially when you spend $50 in diesel and $100 in food and beer when you get to whereever you're going!!

pretty sure they do them but in 34gn. I'm not interested in shooting anything lighter than the 39bk in mine.

The price I was quoted yesterday was 120 for 500 55gn shots for 22 cal, 24cts a shot. Not bad

I don't understand why you won't shooter lighter than the 39's Trevort. Especially if you don't shoot past 300m like you said. The 32's and 34's will be much flatter out to those distances and probably have less wind drift as well.

Page 2 -
Nos Shots 50gn SP - $99 per 1000
Speer 55gn SP - $125 per 1000

Obviously need to add postage but should still work out cheaper.....

Bankstown also keep their website up to date, at least for larger stuff, so if they have something on their site it is usually in stock unlike others who just copy and paste their suppliers lists.

Thanks for the tips yet again, just ordered 500 55gn shots from Bankstown. 5 packs of 100 for $75.

And may reconsider the 34 gn shots, 39bks are listed at $60 per 100

Very Very good website.

been looking for specs on the 34 grain shots??

the nosler site doesn't list them

and the only other 34 grain projectile I can find in .20 cal re the Midway dogtown projectiles??
http://www.midwayusa.com/viewProduct/?p ... =939544231
are thse nosler shots under another name

The listed BC is not very good if these "dogtowns" are SHOTs under another name

if anyone has it can you please post up the BC and SD of the SHOTs so i can update my bullet library on my ballistcs program

thanks
