Ogre,
After you neck up to 30cal you will have to neck turn. The bottom of the neck will be thicker then the rest of the neck because you have brought some of the shoulder up into it. Neck turn the thick part of the neck off then turn all the neck to the required size. I neck turn mine to .327" for a .330"nk and they will be measure .328" when loaded.
If you have a rifle chambered you could fireform the 6mmbr cases before you expand with some fast burning powder ( I use Hercules Bullseye and a wax plug) then expand and neck turn as above. I have started doing this with my PPC. You wont fit a necked up case in a tight necked 30br chamber.
Tested my 30br on Wednesday. Haven't quite got the magic load yet but shot a .100" 3 shot group and a few around .250" with 110gn Bergers. Still haven't reach the powder level the Yanks are using so will have to do more on the weekend if the weathers fine. Forgot my Chrony so will have to wait and see what the velocities are.

Ogre,
Are you building a 30BR as well ?
Thanks to Steven (on ya stevo u r a legend) my new 30 cal tube was fitted on Saturday, now I am waiting not so patiently for the expander and bushes to turn up
I was thinking of trying the wax plug theory...., I think I will do 25 cases each way (wax/fire/expand and just expand)and compare the methods for ease of use.
At least then I can get to fire the thing whilst waiting
The wax plug method may be easier on the cases too......
I dunno if it wll leave a bit of thicker brass from the shoulder inside (doughnut) or not...even after expanding.... it shouldn't I guess, s'pose we will see
Then if it does I would just have to buy an inside neck reamer, and that would be a shame
