KEITH!!! See what happens when AV is down

Post by Buffy »

Well fellas my reloading kit turned up in the post... all excited, i put it all together and away i went, well sort of. Put in the dies for my new 300 ultra, first case went without a hitch and stupid fu%king me in my excitement forgot to lube the second case .... now its stuck in the fu#king die ......well the profanities that come out of my shed were enough to make any of the roughest truckies blush .... well i did my best to get the prick out to no avail....

Im blaiming Keith.....

BB that is a carbon copy of my reloading session with my 22.250, only diff is that I lasted about 25 rounds before I got stuck, and a work mate 20 kms down the road had a case remove kit, so I only had an hours wait till I was loading again.

Knackers, you are lucky you only had an hour, i had to wait for some suggestions on how to get the prick out, i thought for sure i was up for new dies.... but all is well

the standard lee powder thrower is crap!!! its inconsistant to put it nicely, and the scales are shithouse as well, but i was warned by a few of you guy's so i shouldnt complain...

so im in the market for a second hand powder thrower (metal would be nice) and a set of scales that work properly so if you some laying around that you dont use please shoot me a PM.

here is the case that was stuck

and here is the first rounds loaded all by myself (im so proud  ) the .308 is just for comparison...

go on the US Egay
See if you can pick up some RCBS 10-10 scales

Lotsa blokes are converting over the electronics and selling off their 10-10's cheap

worth the risk for a bit of postage for what is normaly a several hundred $$ scale- some of them have gone for $25-45USD

Geez Buff Buster
Did you pinch those cases out of the spent rnd catcher on a A10 warthog tank buster. theyre big suckers compared to the humble 308. :o
Im assuming theyre a 300 rem ultra mag. :?
Not many reloads to the can of powder there.
